京都での生活、いかがお過ごしですか？　 京都ホストファミリー協会・KAHFは＜友好家庭・ホストファミリー＞として 皆さんと友好を深めたいと希望する日本人家庭の集まりです。 私たちは物質的な援助は何も出来ませんが(金品・物品の貸借・贈与は期待しないでください)、 皆さんの京都滞在が楽しく有意義なものになるよう、 家庭にお招きして日本の家庭での団らんの場を持っていただいたり、 ハイキングや見学会等、グループとしての集いを計画したりして活動しています。 ＜友好家庭・ホストファミリー＞を希望の方は別紙申込書に記入して下記の事務局へ 郵送、ＦＡＸまたはメールで送って下さい。 こちらから連絡して、一度お会いした上、あなたを＜友好家庭・ホストファミリー＞に紹介します。
　また、希望があれば、あなたのBrother/Sisterとなる日本人学生等を紹介します。

　 Welcome to Kyoto! We are a group of Japanese families (KAHF) who volunteer to extend warm welcome to foreign students studying in Kyoto.
　Our aim is not to give you any financial or materialistic assistance but to do whatever we can to make your stay in Kyoto more pleasant and worthwhile. Although we might not be able to heal your homesickness, we hope to provide you with sort of "home away from home“.
　We shall assign one or a few students to each host family. The family will try to be a good friend of the assigned students, invite them to the home and, if necessary, give them advice on various aspects of the students' life except for the academic problems.
　If you are interested in our program, please fill out the application form attached and send it to KAHF by mail, facsimile or by e-mail. After interviewing you, we shall assign you to one of our member families.
　In addition, you can have a Japanese student as your 'Brother/Sister' on request.
